Terms and Conditions
1. The customer is responsible to provide accurate details to fill up the testing request form;
2. A.R.Y Gold Laboratory is committed to keep the confidentiality of the customer before giving any details to the public domain;
3. When A.R.Y Gold Laboratory is required by law or authorized by contractual arrangements to release confidential information, the customer or individual concerned shall, unless prohibited by law, be notified of the information provided;
4. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory reserves the right at its discretion to decline or accept the item(s) submitted for testing. If the request is rejected, the customer shall be informed about the reason for rejection;
5. Samples may be rejected for the following reasons: (a) if the weight isless than one gram, (b) The laboratory reserves the right to reject any sample at any stage of testing if it determines that the sample is unsuitable for reporting results due to variations.
6. Once the sample is received, the A.R.Y Gold Laboratory declares that it has the capability and resources to meet the requirements of the standards;
7. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory reserves the right at its discretion to collect the samples for the purpose of testing;
8. Items are preferred to be without gemstone. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory does not take any responsibility for any sort of damage or loss of gemstones while testing the items;
9. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory is not responsible for the sampling method used for samples drawn & submitted by the client;
10. Laboratory is marking a unique alpha numeric reference code by laser on the item sampled (ARY-TP-05),if the same item want to be tested again with separate reference code, the previously marked reference code should be removed;
11. While A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory makes every effort to issue the report as per the expected date, it might be changed if the test is repeated or in case of unavoidable circumstances;
12. Under exceptional circumstances the testing request may be cancelled. The customer shall be informed whenever the expected reporting date is changed or the request is cancelled;
13. Only authorized person from customer can submit & collect the samples;
14. The customer or his representative is expected to collect the report after making the payment against testing and VAT charges;
15. If the customer finds any mistake in the test report then the same shall be brought to notice within ten (10) days from the date of the issue of test report.
16. The total weight mentioned in the test report should not be used for buying or selling;
17. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory is not responsible for the item(s) after it is returned to the customer;
18. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory is not responsible for the metal if not taken back within thirty (30) days from the date of the issue of test report;
19. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any belongings left unattended on its premises;
20. By signing the contract, the customer has understood and accepted the test method ( ISO 11426:2021 E or ISO 13756:2015 E ) and Sampling method ( BS ISO 11596:2021 );
21. The accredited tests shall be conducted and reported according to the scope of EIAC accreditation, as per Accreditation Certificate No. LB-TEST-167
22. Tests conducted outside the scope of accreditation and test method as specified in ARY-TG-08 shall be reported as Non-accredited test;
23. All ornaments for Fire Assay Testing will be melted in the Laboratory, after testing the scrap gold will be returned to the customer;
24. Sample submitted for melting to the laboratory should not exceed more than 50 grams each;
25. In the event of loss of integrity of the sample while melting, the customer should provide an identical item to be tested;
26. The Laboratory shall have no responsibility of the loss of sample during melting or preparation;
27. The result contained in the test report will apply only to the sample tested;
28. A.R.Y Gold Laboratory does not provide interpretation in respect to the test report.
29. A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory does not take any responsibility for any sort of damage on the item(s) submitted to the Laboratory, the item(s) may be scratched for the purpose of testing;
30. The XRF Analysis Report relate only to the item(s) submitted and does not, in anyhow, represent any item(s) directly or indirectly identical to the item(s) tested;
31. Claims regarding product integrity with respect to the purity are limited only to the item(s) submitted to A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory and make no representation whatever as to the status of the balance of the lot;
32. The purity stated in XRF Analysis Report is only an approximate purity of precious metal on the surface of the item(s) and does not guarantee the overall purity of the item(s); therefore, it shall not be used in buying or selling;
33. Off-site sampling will be done only by the authorized sampler upon the approval of Laboratory manger;
34. All off-site sampling will be as per the sampling procedure of A.R.Y. Gold Laboratory;
35. Customer for off-site sampling should inform the Laboratory the time, date, place and number of samples for sampling in prior by electronic written communication and provide adequate space and facilities for sampling;
36. For all off-site sampling the contract will be signed by the customer before sampling;
37. For all off-site sampling customer should deliver the samples to the Laboratory, Laboratory will not take any responsibility of any loss or damage for the samples on transportation;
38. Off-site sampling will be done only in the registered address of companies and with a valid license;
39. All the records including Test Reports will be maintained for a period of three years only from the date of issue;
40. The Silver test requires drawing a minimum of 3 grams from the test item which will be held in the Laboratory for the entire duration of the test;
41. Depending on the purity of the silver test item, a minimum of 0.6 grams of the sample will be used as test portion which will not be returned to the client;
42. Silver test items containing palladium will be rejected;
43. Silver will be tested using ISO 13756:2015(E) – Potentiometric method. Silver test is not part of the Laboratory’s scope of accreditation.
